Sheikh Hasina leaves Ganabhaban

Bangladesh’s Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has left the capital Dhaka in the face of mass protests demanding her resignation, a source close to the prime minister told news agency AFP on Monday (August 5).
A military helicopter took off from Bangabhaban with Sheikh Hasina at 2:30, according to BBC.
Meanwhile, AFP reported that Sheikh Hasina and her younger sister Sheikh Rehana have gone to a safe place from Ganabhaban. Sheikh Hasina wanted to record a speech before leaving. But, she didn’t get that chance.
