Bangabandhu Bhaban at Dhanmondi 32 set ablaze

Hundreds of protesters have set fire to Bangabandhu Bhaban, popularly known as the Bangabandhu Memorial Museum, at Dhanmondi 32 in the capital on Monday (August 5) afternoon.

It was reported that the fire was blazing intensely around 3:45 pm and the demonstrators were chanting various slogans.

They also set the Awami League president’s office at Dhanmondi 3/A on fire at around 4PM on Monday. At the time, the fire spread to nearby areas.
