Major reshuffle in top army positions

Bangladesh Army has made changes to some of its top-level positions.

The Inter Services Public Relation Directorate (ISPR) issued an statement in this regard on Tuesday (August 6).

Major General Ziaul Ahsan has been relieved from service, Lieutenant General Md Saiful Alam's job has been assigned to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, according to the notice.

Meanwhile, Lt Gen Mojibur Rahman has been appointed GOC Army Training and Doctrine Command, Lt Gen Ahmad Tabrez Shams Chowdhury as Quartermaster General of Army, Lt Gen Mizanur Rahman Shamim as Chief of General Staff of Army.
