Dr. Muhammad Yunus to return home Thursday

Nobel laureate economist Dr Muhammad Yunus is scheduled to return to Bangladesh on Thursday afternoon (August 8).

He will arrive at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport, Dhaka on a flight of Emirates airlines from Dubai at 2:10 pm Dhaka.

Airport sources said confirmed the matter today (August 7).

According to sources, Dr. Yunus went to Paris as a special guest at the invitation of the Olympic Committee. There he received treatment and underwent a minor surgery. That's why there is some delay in his return.

Earlier, President Mohammed Shahabuddin on Tuesday night decided to form an interim government headed by the globally acclaimed Nobel Peace laureate.
