Anarchy cannot be a solution: Tarique Rahman

Acting Chairman of Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) Tarique Rahman has said anarchy, violence and sabotage will not be a solution.

He said this while addressing a rally virtually in the capital’s Nayapaltan on Wednesday.

He also urged his party men to work in a bid to ensure security for all. 

The rally formally began around 2:40 pm on Wednesday with the recitation from the holy Quran.

BNP leaders and activists started gathering before the party’s Nayapaltan central office with processions carrying banners, festoons, placards, and portraits of the party’s top leaders from different parts of Dhaka since morning to join the rally.

BNP Chairperson Khaledia Zia addressed the rally virtually. Senior BNP leaders, including Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir, also spoke at the rally.
