Supreme Court judicial proceedings suspended for sine die

A decision has been taken to suspend all judicial proceedings in both divisions of the Supreme Court for an indefinite period.

After consultations with President Mohammed Shahabuddin on Wednesday (August 7) night, Chief Justice Obaidul Hassan has decided to suspend all judicial proceedings in both divisions of the Supreme Court.

A press release has been issued from the Supreme Court’s Appellate Division, confirming the matter.

The suspension of all judicial proceedings in both divisions of the Supreme Court will remain in effect until further notice, the press release said.
