Dr Yunus arrives in Dhaka

Nobel laureate Dr Muhammad Yunus returned to the country on Thursday noon (August 8).

An Emirates flight, carrying Prof Yunus, landed at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport in the capital at 2:10 pm.

Chief of Army Staff General Waker-uz-Zaman, Air Chief Marshal Hasan Mahmood Khan and Navy chief admiral SM Nazmul Hassan welcomed him at the airport.

Earlier on Wednesday (August 7), he left Paris for Dhaka.
