Nobel Laureate Professor Muhammad Yunus has become emotional while talking about Abu Sayed, who was among the first killed in police firing during the Anti-Discrimination Student Movement.
The Nobel Laureate became emotional while remembering Sayed during a press briefing at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport, where he arrived today (August 8) around 2:10pm.
Dr Yunus said, “Through the revolution, a new victory has been created in Bangladesh today.”
In a tearful voice, he said, “Young society has made it possible. We are grateful to them.”
“These youths have saved this country. They have given rebirth to this country. May this Bangladesh move forward very quickly,” he added.
