Suspension order on Diganta TV’s broadcast lifted

The Ministry of Information and Broadcasting has withdrawn the suspension order of the broadcasting of Diganta Television, a private satellite channel, after around 11 years.

The ministry withdrew the order following an application of the private television channel authorities on Thursday (August 8).

In 2013, the then Awami League government temporarily suspended the broadcasting of Diganta Television on charges of allegedly spreading hatred, rumours, and irresponsible reporting.
