Diplomats welcome interim government

Foreign Affairs Adviser Md Touhid Hossain has said that diplomats working in Bangladesh have welcomed the interim government headed by Nobel Laureate Prof Muhammad Yunus.
The foreign affairs adviser said this while speaking at a press conference after briefing diplomats at the State Guest House Padma on Monday.
In responding to a question, the foreign adviser said that Bangladesh is not under the control of any foreign country. The government is working for the country. This government will work till the election environment is created.
The diplomats also talked about Rohingyas and foreign students in the country, he added.
A total of 65 diplomats from different countries were present in the briefing.
