Salman F Rahman, Anisul Haque arrested

Former Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina’s Private Industry and Investment Adviser Salman F Rahman and former Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs Minister Anisul Huque have been arrested.

Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) Commissioner Md Mainul Hassan confirmed the matter on Tuesday.

They were arrested from Sadarghat area in the capital on Tuesday afternoon in a case filed with New Market Police Station, he said.

Acting on a tip-off, a police team arrested them from Sadarghat area of the capital city while they were trying to flee through river route, he said.
