Trials of killings in July to be held in ICT: Asif Nazrul

Law, judiciary and parliamentary affairs advisor Asif Nazrul said that the trials of killings in July can be held at the International Criminal Tribunal. The interim government has decided to conduct the trial at the tribunal.
He said this while addressing reporters at the secretariat office on Wednesday (August 14).
Asif Nazrul said the genocide and shooting will be prosecuted. The investigation will be under the supervision of the United Nations.
He also said that all false and harassment cases filed in Dhaka against the protesters between July 1 to August 5 will be withdrawn by Thursday. And cases filed across the country against protestors will be withdrawn by August 31.
Discrimination based on religion; politics will be eliminated, he added.
