Shamsul Haque Tuku, Palak, BCL leader Saikat arrested

Former Deputy Speaker Shamsul Haque Tuku, former State Minister for Telecommunications and Information Technology Zunaid Ahmed Palak, and Tanvir Hasan Saikat the General Secretary of the Dhaka University Chhatra League were arrested on Wednesday (August 14).

Police arrested them from the Nikunja residential area in the capital.

Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) public relations department confirmed the matter through a press notification.

Acting on a tip-off, police conducted a drive in Nikunja and arrested the three. These three individuals were detained in relation to a case filed at Paltan Police Station.
