Dhaka Wasa MD Taqsem A Khan resigns

Taqsem A Khan, the managing director of Dhaka Water Supply and Sewerage Authority (WASA), resigned from his post citing illness.

An official of WASA said Taqsem A Khan sent his resignation letter through online on Wednesday (August 14).

Rumors of his resignation were heard since last Tuesday. Dhaka Wasa Managing Director (MD) Taksim A Khan was contacted to find out the truth of the matter but he was not available. His phone number is found to be switched off.

When the reporters tried to contact Taqsem A Khan for his comment in this regard, his phone found switched off.

Taqsem A Khan was first appointed as the managing director of Dhaka Wasa in 2009. His tenure was extended multiple times, with the latest extension in August of last year, when he was appointed for the seventh time for an additional three years.
