Another murder case filed against Sheikh Hasina, 10 others

Another case has been filed against former Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina and 10 others for the killing of an auto-rickshaw driver with gunfire in the capital’s Sher-e-Bangla Nagar area.

Md. Abul Kalam, the father of the victim, appealed to the court of Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate Farah Diba Chandar for filing the case. Later, the court directed the Sher-e-Bangla Nagar Police Station to accept the case.

Other accused are former Road Transport and Bridges Minister and AL General Secretary Obaidul Quader, former Home Minister Asaduzzaman Khan Kamal, former ICT State Minister Zunaid Ahmed Palak, former Law Minister Anisul Haq, Hasina’s adviser Salman F Rahman, former Foreign Minister Hasan Mahmud, former State Minister for Information and Broadcasting Mohammad Ali Arafat,  former Inspector General of Police Chowdhury Abdullah Al Mamun, former Additional Inspector General of Police and Dhaka Metropolitan Detective Chief Harun-ar Rashid, former Dhaka Metropolitan Police Commissioner Habibur Rahman and Additional Joint Police Commissioner Biplab Kumar.
