Govt to support UN for fair probe of atrocities

The United Nations (UN) is sending a fact finding team next week to probe atrocities committed in Bangladesh during the Student Revolution in July and early this week.

Foreign Affairs Adviser Md. Touhid Hossain has said that his government will help the UN team for proper and fair investigation of atrocities.

The adviser said this while talking to journalists on Thursday noon.

“The government wants the investigation should be transparent, and they will provide all-out support to the UN team”, he said.
