Masrur Reaz not taking responsibility of BSEC chairman

Dr M Masrur Reaz has expressed his inability to take the responsibility of chairman of the Bangladesh Securities and Exchange Commission (BSEC).

Economist and public policy expert confirmed the matter to risingbd on Saturday. 

Masrur Reaz expressed gratitude to the interim government for considering him for the appointment of BSEC chairman. But he will not joint rather that he wants to work as economist and public policy expert for the betterment of the country’s economy.

On August 13, the Financial Institutions Division under the Ministry of Finance appointed Dr M Masrur Reaz as BSEC chairman through a circular.
