5 retired additional secretaries made secretaries 

Five additional secretaries, who went on retirement earlier, have been appointed to the post of secretary on contractual basis.

The Ministry of Public Administration issued a notification in this regard on Saturday.

The officials who have been appointed secretaries belong to the BCS 82 batch. 

Among them, Dr Sheikh Abdur Rashid has been made as the secretary to the Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Division; Md Ehsanul Huq as the secretary to the Road Transport and Highways Division; Dr Mohammad Abdul Momen as the secretary to the Public Security Division; Dr Nasimul Ghani as the secretary to the Public Division of the President's Office; and MA Akmal Hossain Azad as the secretary to the Ministry of Railways.
