ACC forms committee to probe corruption of 4 MPs

An organized gang looted around Tk20,000 crore after controlling the labour market of Malaysia during the reign of Awami League government in last one and half year.
The four influential former members of the parliament came to light, who controlled the ring. Creating a syndicate, the four MPs controlled the labour marker and embezzled thousands of crore taka.
The former MPs are – AHM Mustafa Kamal, Feni-2 constituency’s MP Nizam Uddin Hazari, Feni-3 MP Lieutenant General (Retd) Masud Uddin Chowdhury, Dhaka-20 MP Benazir Ahmed. Of them, three MPs came from Awami League and one from Jatiya Party.
Sources said the Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) is investigating the allegations of smuggling a large amount of money abroad through corruption. An investigation team has been appointed already. As a result, these four former MPs are getting caught for their role the Malaysian labor market.
ACC deputy director Aktarul Islam on Sunday (August 18), said a three-member committee headed by ACC Deputy Director Mohammad Nurul Huda has been formed to investigate corruption against the four former MPs.
