Gold price rises to Tk1.22 lakh per bhori

The Bangladesh Jewellers Association (Bajus) today (August 18) increased the price of gold by Tk2,904 per bhori.

As per new rate, per bhori 22-carat gold will cost Tk1,22,985, which was Tk1,20,080 till today.

The new rate will be effective on Monday, the release said.

According to the release, 21-carat gold will now cost Tk1,17,398 per bhori, and 18-carat Tk1,00,625.

Besides, for the traditional method, the price of gold will be Tk83,199 per bhori.
