Dipu Modi arrested

Joint General Secretary of Awami League and former Social Welfare Minister Dr. Dipu Moni has been arrested.

Police arrested her from the capital’s Baridhara area on Monday (August 19) evening.

Media and Public Relations Division of DMP confirmed the matter. 

Dipu Moni was a three-time member of parliament for the Chandpur-3 constituency. She was also foreign minister and education minister.
