No barrier to publishing Tarique Rahman’s speeches in media 

There is now no barrier to broadcasting and publishing speeches and statements of BNP acting chairman Tarique Rahman in all types of media and online platforms as the High Court has lifted a ban.

The High Court bench of Judge Md Khasruzzaman and Justice Md Khairul Alam passed the order on Thursday.

At the same time, the court has dismissed its previous ruling that directed the government to take necessary steps to ban the publication and dissemination of Tarique Rahman’s speech.

In 2015, the High Court banned broadcast, publication and dissemination of speeches and statements of Tarique Rahman.
