Banks asked to freeze accounts of Tipu Munshi, family members 

The Bangladesh Financial Intelligence Unit (BFIU) has asked banks to freeze the accounts of former Commerce Minister Tipu Munshi, his wife Irin Malbika Munshi and daughters Anonna Munshi and Trisha Munshi. 

An official of BFIU confirmed the matter. 

The BFIU has also directed the lenders to keep their accounts freeze for the next 30 days.
