Former justice Manik detained

The members of Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) have detained former Appellate Division Justice AHM Shamsuddin Chowdhury Manik while he was attempting to flee to India. 

He was detained from Zakiganj border area in Sylhet on Friday (August 23) night.

BGB's public relations officer Md Shariful Islam confirmed the news.

At the time of his detention, UK and Bangladeshi passports, cash money, debit and credit cards were seized from him.
