Metro rail operations resume

After closure of more than a month following sabotage carried out by miscreants during the recent Anti-Discrimination Student Movement, the metro rail has resumed operations today, Sunday (August 25).

However, the Kazipara and Mirpur 10 stations, which were damaged during the recent unrest, will remain closed.

Confirming the matter to risingbd on Saturday, Dhaka Mass Transit Company Limited’s Secretary Mohammad Abdur Rauf said, “The metro rail will resume operations on Sunday, following its regular schedule.”
