131 officials promoted to Addl Secretaries

A total of 131 joint secretaries were promoted to the rank of additional secretaries.

The public administration ministry issued a notification in this regard on Sunday (August 25).

These officers were denied promotion during the past Awami League government.

Officers granted the rank of additional secretary will receive arrears from the date on which they are superseded by junior officers.
