Another murder case filed against Hasina in Mohammadpur

Another murder case has been filed against former Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina and 12 other individuals in connection with the death of Mahmudur Rahman Saikat, a 19-year-old student at Mohammadpur Government Model College.

Saikat’s father, Md Mahabubur Rahman, filed the case at Mohammadpur police station on Sunday (August 25).

Former home minister Asaduzzaman Khan, former textiles and jute minister Jahangir Kabir Nanak, former information state minister Mohammad A Arafat, and former police chief Chowdhury Abdullah Al-Mamun were among the accused.

Additionally, 30 to 40 unidentified police officers and policemen were also made accused in the case.

According to the case statement, Mahmudur Rahman Saikat was shot and killed on the afternoon of July 19 in front of the Nurjahan Road Mohammadpur Government Primary School.
