UK to donate £33,000 for flood relief

The United Kingdom (UK) has declared to provide £33,000 of immediate humanitarian assistance in Bangladesh to support people affected by severe flooding in Feni, Khagrachari and Noakhali.

British High Commission in Dhaka issued a press notification in this regard on Monday (August 26).

The aid will provide vital search and rescue, food, cash transfers, clean water, sanitation and hygiene supplies. It will be implemented by Start Fund Bangladesh and Save the Children International, it added.
