Inu placed on 7-day remand

A Dhaka court placed Jatiya Samajtantrik Dal (JSD) president and former information minister Hasanul Huq Inu on a seven-day remand in a case filed over the murder of businessman Abdul Wadud in the capital’s New Market area.

Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate Md Ali Haider’s court passed the remand order on Tuesday (August 27).

Earlier, Sub-Inspector (SI) of New Market Police Station Md Morad Khan, also the investigation officer of the case, filed the plea with 10-day remand for Inu.
