66 deputy attorney generals, 161 assistant attorney generals appointed

President Mohammed Shahabuddin on Wednesday appointed 66 lawyers of the Supreme Court as deputy attorney generals and 161 other lawyers of the apex court as assistant attorney generals.

At the same time, all the orders that appointed deputy attorney generals and assistant attorney generals before 13 August were cancelled.

The Solicitor Division of the Ministry of Law issued a notification regarding the appointments and cancellations on Wednesday night.
