President urges Kuwait to recruit more Bangladeshi manpower

President Mohammed Shahabuddin has urged Kuwait government to recruit more skilled and semi-skilled manpower from Bangladesh.
He made the call when the oil-rich Middle Eastern country’s ambassador in Dhaka Faisal Mutlaq H Al Adwani paid a farewell call on him at Bangabhaban on Thursday.
Thanking the outgoing Ambassador of Kuwait for his successful tenure in Bangladesh, the Head of the State said Bangladesh’s bilateral ties with Kuwait is excellent, President’ press secretary Md Joynal Abedin told newsmen after the meeting.
Mentioning that Bangladesh has a lot of skilled and semi-skilled manpower, the President said this manpower can play an important role in accelerating the ongoing development process of Kuwait.
He expressed satisfaction with the ongoing bilateral trade between Bangladesh and Kuwait, saying that
Kuwait is continuing to invest in various sectors of Bangladesh.
President Shahabuddin sought more Kuwaiti investment in Bangladesh. “The development partnership between Kuwait and Bangladesh will expand further in the days to come,” he hoped.
Noting that Bangladeshi manpower is making an important contribution to the development of Kuwait, the outgoing ambassador informed the President that Kuwait government is interested to recruit more skilled manpower from Bangladesh.
The envoy expressed gratitude to the President for providing all out cooperation in discharging his duties in Bangladesh as an envoy of Kuwait.
President’s Office Secretary Dr. Nasimul Ghani, Military Secretary Maj. Gen. Mohammad Adil Chowdhury and Press Secretary Md Joynal Abedin were present at the meeting.
