Banks asked to freeze accounts of former Chief Justice, Attorney General

Bangladesh Financial Intelligence Unit (BFIU) has asked banks to freeze accounts of former Chief Justice Obaidul Hassan and Attorney General AM Amin Uddin.
It has also asked to freeze the accounts of their wives and children.
The banks have been ordered to keep the accounts frozen for the next 30 days, according to letters sent on Thursday.
The banks have been also asked to send all documents related to the accounts and transactions to the BFIU within the next five working days.
