100 acres of forest land occupied by Hasan Mahmud’s brother recovered 

At least 100 acres of illegally occupied forest land by former Foreign Minister Hasan Mahmud’s brother Ershad Mahmud have been recovered. 

The Forest Department conducted a drive on Thursday (August 29) and recovered the land located in Khurushia area under Podua union in Rangunia upazila of Chattogram. 

Chattogram South Divisional Forest Officer Abdullah Al Mamun led the drive.  

Houses, farms and other establishments were built on the occupied forest land.
