Chief Adviser exchanging views with major political parties

Three weeks after assuming the role of Chief Adviser to the interim government, Professor Muhammad Yunus exchanging views with the country’s leading political parties to hold discussions amid the national election.
The meeting started at the State Guesthouse Jamuna at 3pm on Saturday (August 31) and will continue until 8pm.
Leaders of Khelafat Majlish, Nizam-e-Islam, Hefazat-e-Islam, Bangladesh Khelafat Majlish, Islami Andolon, Khelafat Andolon and Jamiat Ulama-e Islam entered Jamuna at 3 pm.
Subsequently, the Chief Adviser will hold discussions with delegations from Gonoforum, LDP, Jatiya Party, Jatiyatabadi Samomana Dal, the 12-party alliance, and Bangladesh JSD.
Earlier, on Thursday (August 29) afternoon, a delegation led by BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir met with Chief Adviser Dr Muhammad Yunus at the State Guesthouse Jamuna to initiate dialogues with political parties regarding state reforms and electoral issues.
