What demands placed by 7 Islamic parties

Three weeks after assuming the role of Chief Adviser to the interim government, Professor Muhammad Yunus exchanged views with the country’s leading political parties to hold discussions amid the national election. 

The meeting started at the State Guesthouse Jamuna at 3pm on Saturday (August 31) and will continue until 8pm. 

Leaders of Khelafat Majlish, Nizam-e-Islam, Hefazat-e-Islam, Bangladesh Khelafat Majlish, Islami Andolon, Khelafat Andolon and Jamiat Ulama-e Islam entered Jamuna at 3 pm.

Bangladesh Khelafat Majlish Secretary General Mamunul Haque talked to the journalists after emerging from the meeting.   

They places some demands including reform in election process, no law against Islam and no one will be Prime Minister more than two times.
