Govt employees directed to submit wealth statement

All the government employees are directed to submit the asset statement, said Md Mokhlesur Rahman, the senior secretary to the public administration ministry.

The public administration ministry issued a notification in this regard on Sunday (September 1).

Quoting the senior secretary, the notification said that all government employees have been directed to submit asset statements.

Earlier on August 24, in order to ensure transparency and accountability, the Supreme Court ordered judicial officers and their family members to submit their statement of assets by September 1.
