Haji Salim arrested

Former member of parliament for Dhaka-7 constituency Haji Mohammad Salim has been arrested from the capital's Bangshal area.

Police arrested him on Sunday night (September 1).

Mohammad Rabiul Hossain Bhuiyan, Joint Commissioner of Police (North) of Dhaka Metropolitan Detective (DB) Police confirmed the matter.

He said a team of DB police arrested him. Haji Selim is accused in several cases. He will be produced before the court with remand plea on Monday (September 2).
