Price of 12kg LPG cylinder hiked

The price of liquefied natural gas (LPG) cylinder has been increased once again at the consumer level. The price of a 12 kg LPG cylinder has been increased by Tk44 to Tk1,421.

The Bangladesh Energy Regulatory Commission (BERC) made the announcement at a press briefing on Monday (September 2).

The new prices will come into effect this evening.

Earlier, for the month of August, the price of a 12-kg LPG cylinder was raised by Tk11 to Tk1,377 compared to July.

In the previous month, the BERC increased the price by Tk3, setting the price at Tk1,366 for a 12-kg cylinder.
