Jatiya Party (JP) Chairman and former Minister Anwar Hossain Manju has been arrested.
A team of Detective Branch (DB) police arrested him from the capital’s Dhanmondi area on Monday (Sept 2) afternoon.
Md Rabiul Hossain Bhuiyan, Joint Commissioner of Police (North) for the Detective Branch (DB), confirmed the matter.
He is reportedly accused in five murder cases. He has been taken to the DB office for interrogation.
