Govt to take responsibly of martyrs’ families: Nahid

Posts, Telecommunications and ICT Adviser Nahid Islam has said, it is the government's responsibility to ensure wellbeing of the martyrs’ families.

Nahid said this at the Secretariat while talking to family members of Md Ramjan Ali, who was killed in police shooting at Savar's Baipail on August 5, according to a media release.

Nahid, also information adviser, said a ‘new Bangladesh’ was achieved because students and common people took to the streets and shed blood. Ramjan's father and younger sister met Nahid on Thursday.
