10-day remand plea for Shahjahan Khan 

Police has sought a 10-day remand for Awami League presidium member and former Minister for Shipping Shahjahan Khan in a murder case filed with Dhanmondi Thana. 

Sub inspector and investigation officer Md Khokon Mia has sought the plea.

The hearing will be held at the court of Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate Mahbub Ahmed today (Friday). 

Shahjahan Khan was arrested from Dhanmandi area in the capital on Thursday night. 

A young boy named Abdul Motaleb was killed during the quota reform movement on August 4 and a case was filed.
