Eminent artist Mustafa Monwar on life support

Eminent artist Mustafa Monwar, has been put on life support in a private hospital in the capital.

He was taken to hospital on Wednesday after on Saturday. Later, he was put on life support when his physical condition worsened.

Mustafa Monwar’s wife Meri Monwar confirmed the matter on yesterday night.

She said that Mustafa Manwar's condition is quite complicated. He was brought home in May month after treatment from India. Then he was given radiation therapy.

Legendary Bangladeshi painter, sculptor and cultural personality Mustafa Monwar, lovingly known as Bangladesh's ‘Puppet Man’, is suffering from pneumonia and prostate cancer.
