25 districts get new DCs

The interim government has appointed new deputy commissioners (DCs) to 25 districts of the country.

The Ministry of Public Administration issued a gazette notification in this regard on Monday (September 9).

According to the notification, the districts are: Dhaka, Sylhet, Habiganj, Mymensingh, Magura, Rangpur, Gaibandha, Naogaon, Natore, Cox’s Bazar, Chattogram, Noakhali, Gazipur, Cumilla, Moulvibazar, Khulna, Gopalganj, Faridpur, Sherpur, Kushtia, Jhenaidah, Pabna, Bogura, Joypurhat and Chandpur.
