21 govt colleges get new principals

The interim government has ordered for the transfer of 67 officials in the education sector including 21 government college principals and officials under the National Curriculum and Textbook Board (NCTB).

The education ministry issued three separate notifications in this regard on Monday.

Some of the colleges are Iden Mohila College, Govt Titumir College, Govt Bangla College, Kabi Nazrul Govt College, Govt Science College, Badrunnesa College and Cumilla Victoria College.

The transferred officials also include professors and associate professors. They have until 15 September to resign from their existing posts.
