Bangladesh receives 58cr USD in 7 days of September

Bangladesh received 58cr USD in remittances in the first seven days of September, according to the latest report from Bangladesh Bank.
The latest data from the Bangladesh Banks Statistics Department confirmed the matter on Monday (September 9).
According to the statistics, in the first seven days of the current month of September (2024), the country received 58.45cr US dollars as remittance. Among them, 15.27cr US dollars came through the state-owned banks.
Besides, specialized banks received 1.48cr USD, private banks 41.52cr USD, and foreign banks 16.50cr USD in the period.
Earlier, the Bangladeshi expatriates sent $2.2 billion in remittances in the last August month.
