34 districts get new DCs

The interim government has appointed 34 new deputy commissioners (DCs) across the country.

The public administration ministry issued a gazette notification in this regard on Tuesday (September 10).

The notification stated that the order, issued in the public interest, will be effective immediately.

Earlier on Monday (September 9), the government appointed 25 deputy secretaries as deputy commissioners.
