4 killed in Bogura oil tank explosion 

At least four workers have been killed in an oil tank explosion in Sherpur of Bogura.

The incident occurred at Mazumdar Products Limited in Bhabanipur Union of the upazila on Thursday noon. 

Sherpur Upazila Nirbahi Officer Sumon Zihadi confirmed the matter.

The deceased are Md Imran, Mohammad Said, 38, Rubel, 31, and Monir, 28. All hailed from Saidpur of Nilphamari.

According to sources, the explosion took place when they were repairing an oil tank. All four of the victims were critically injured and they were taken at Shaheed Ziaur Rahman Medical College Hospital. But the duty doctors declared them dead.
