Rubel, who opened fire with two pistols, arrested

Members of Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) have arrested a man who opened fire on students and people with two pistols at his hands during the Anti-Discrimination Student Movement.

The arrestee is Zahirul Islam Rubel (26).

RAB’s Legal and Media Wing Director Lieutenant Colonel Munim Ferdous confirmed the development.

According to RAB, Zahirul Islam Rubel attacked and opened fire at the students and people during the Anti-Discrimination Student Movement in Boalia area of Rajshahi city. A video of him shooting with two pistols in his hands went viral on social media.
