The UN fact-finding team will start their tasks today, Saturday (September 14) to investigate the human rights violations that took place between July 1 and August 15.

A senior official of the foreign ministry said the UN fact-finding team will begin their work today through holding a meeting with the foreign adviser or the foreign secretary.

The UN delegation will include a technical team, consisting of forensic, legal and other experts. This is the first experience for Bangladesh, so we have to act very carefully, the official added.
