Bangladesh receives USD 116cr remittance in 15 days of Sept

Expatriate Bangladeshis sent around USD 116.72cr remittances in 15 days of September.

The updated data of Bangladesh Bank (BB) revealed the matter on Sunday (September 15).

As per the data, state-owned banks brought in USD 29.72cr while private sector banks brought 81.69cr USD remittances.

Earlier, Bangladesh received USD 191.35cr in remittances in July of the 2024-25 fiscal year.
